My family had an amazing time at Lindberg’s Landing! The cabin is in a beautiful, quiet location, but a quick drive to all of the major sites and hikes in the area. The house itself was super clean and comfortable, and we had a great time fishing out on the lake. Plus, Lisa was super easy to work with and made sure everything was ready for our stay. We would definitely recommend!

Lindberg’s Landing was a treat for a group of 4 guys! We took full advantage of the gas grill, bonfire pit, dock, and stargazing on clear nights. The cabin was very cozy & welcoming after a day of exploring/hiking in the UP. The kitchen is stocked full of all pots/pans/utensils you’ll need. Seclusion is what we were craving and this cabin hit the spot, while also being in a perfect location with tons of amenities.

This beautiful cottage was perfect for my large family of seven! Nestled back in the forest on a quiet peaceful little lake, this place was heaven to our 5 teenagers. (Sports and jobs make our life extremely busy) The view sitting on the large back porch was picturesque. With a paddle boat and row boat the kids did not get bored at all, we spent hours fishing and even caught a catfish! Lisa was our host and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. From the start of the booking she has been quick to respond with anything needed. We had everything in the cabin we needed! Will definitely book a longer stay next year!!

My husband, our dog and I stayed at the Lindberg's Landing for our wedding anniversary. We normally camp when we visit the UP but we decided to treat ourselves this time and stay at this vacation rental. We could not be happier with our decision. We loved everything about this place from the privacy to the lake everything was great and as described. We didn't want to leave. We will defiantly be back. Relaxing getaway in great location 5 of 5 Stars We've vacationed in the UP probably 15 times with our children (now adults), but we've never stayed in the same vacation home more than once. We've never found a home that had everything we wanted: a beautiful, clean cabin with good fishing that's conveniently located for attractions and restaurants. That is, until we stayed at Lindberg's Landing....we will definitely return to this home! The guys caught small and large mouthed bass, northern pike, and black crappie, and the birdwatching around the cabin was worthwhile. The home was super clean and well stocked with linens, dish and cooking ware, laundry, etc. as well as being comfortable and nicely furnished. Being 30 minutes from Munising made grocery shopping, Pictured Rocks National Seashore, and restaurants convenient. The Falling Rock Cafe was a great little coffee shop and deli - a new find for us this year! Great food and coffee, ice cream, gift shop with locally made products, walls of books to read, local entertainment in the evening, and free wifi were all fully enjoyed by our family. All in all, it was one of our better vacations in northern Michigan with excellent customer service through Hiawatha Hideaway Vacation Homes. We had a lovely vacation at Lindberg's. The cabin/cottage was wonderful...had absolutely everything that we needed. Weather was nearly perfect, except when the guys came to extend the dock/pier, which we really appreciated, and it started to pour rain on them--poor guys. Our only complaint was, of course, that the week just went too fast. And Lisa, you were very helpful and it was a pleasure dealing with you. Thank you so much for everything. Jean

We had a wonderful time at liner landing! The cabin was very clean and well equipped with everything you might need. We had a large group of 11 and a dog and there was plenty of room for all of us! We will definitely use Hiawatha hideaways for our next trip to the U.P.!

***** Lindberg's Landing is the perfect family getaway. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It's clean & very comfortable. Lisa was the best to work with. She made the whole rental process easy. The lake is peaceful. My husband & sons have had a great time fishing out on the boat. The place is even better than advertised. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway. We love it here. Haven't left yet and have already talked to Lisa about renting next summer!! Thank you for a great vacation!!

Amazing! *****Lindberg's Landing is a great off the grid getaway! We thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon without being attached to a computer or cellphone. Munising is a 20 min drive, and the scenery is absolutely stunning! The cabin is on the lake and very private. We look forward to visiting again! Date of arrival July 1, 2016

My husband and I went to Lindberg's Landing for our honeymoon. We love the UP and are super outdoorsy and this little cabin on the lake was the perfect place for us and was in a great location to hop around and drive to Munising for Pictured Rocks and Newberry wasnt a bad drive either to the falls. The cabin was adorable and super clean and cozy. Lisa was absolutely wonderful to work with and we had no issues at all. Finding the place with the directions was easy and there were no surprises - it was just perfect! The list of places to eat and things to do was also super helpful. We will definitely be back! Thanks Lisa!! :)

We spent a wonderful week at Lindberg's Landing with another couple and it was perfect. This was our second stay at one of Tom and Lisa's rentals and we are already talking about scheduling another one in a year or two. Our friends couldn't believe how nice and clean the house was, even though we told them ahead of time that everything would be clean, with all the comforts of home. We saw all kinds of awesome things in the UP but the part we may miss the most is starting our day on the deck drinking coffee and ending our day out there as well. Total beauty and relaxation and I miss it! We will be back. Thank you again for a perfect week Up North!

My husband and I spent a week at Lindberg's Landing. It was perfect for our needs. We wanted a place near hiking trails, secluded, quiet and comfortable, and our expectations were exceeded. Although dogs are allowed at the cottage (and we had ours) there was no evidence, inside or outside, of dogs being on the property. We ate most meals at the cottage and the kitchen was well stocked. The cottage was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated all the maps and literature provided for our use. Lisa was very responsive and easy to work with. I'd highly recommend Lindberg's Landing, and am planning a return trip next year.

We had a great time at Lindberg's Landing. This is a great house on a nice little lake. It was impeccably clean when we walked in and was perfect for our family. Easy access to trails and Munising is a really easy drive. The Camel Rider Resturant that is practically right down the street is a must. We will be making this trip again and if we don't stay at the Landing again we will most definitely be going through one of Hiawatha's Hideaway's other homes.

This cabin was even nicer than we anticipated. Everything was clean and new-looking. It was a quiet, peaceful spot for our family to spend time together. We enjoyed the back porch and lake front. It was great!

Lovely location, very comfortable property. Total serenity all around and pretty safe too. Our 3 yr old played all by himself in the back yard while we were tending to chores....loved it would definitely return in the near future

Very lovely & comfortable place to stay. We came to run the Grand Island Marathon & have a short vacation. The Marathon went well - son won!!! 1st place out of all runners! Mom won 2nd place in the 50-59 age group. Younger son finished his 1st race & 1st marathon. Daughter-in-law, Sarah completed the half-marathon. :) Lovely weather. We hate to go home to 100+ humid MO weather. Loved the Pictured Rock Boat tour, Miner's Beach, Miners Falls,... The grandsons loved fishing from the dock.

The end of a wonderful week! Our 1st in the U.P., but not likely to be the last. We all loved the cabin and West Branch Lake - water floaties, paddle boat, fishing boat and our own kayak. All made multiple trips out. Andy caught a huge large mouth bass - fingertip to elbow length - maybe you'll catch him too! We all took the boat cruise and all loved sand point beach. Our faves - Falling Rock Cafe - ice cream & floats, the Pictured Rocks Cruise, and firepit and stars at Lindberg's Landing. Camel Riders Restaurant for dinner.

The states of FL, WA, & VA were represented here this week for a family reunion, spanning in age from 50's to 90's. We all greatly enjoyed & appreciated the beautiful cabin, quiet, nature, and lake. We remain yoopers at heart! Our extended family hailed from at least 14 states and we celebrated our heritage in traunik with a lively polka dance followed by our participation in the Trenary parade on 7/4. We had a great family time here at Lindberg's Landing. So glad we found you. Keep up the good work!

Snowmobilee weekend - not much snow this year. Trails were still good. We had a nice ride to Pictured Rocks & Grand Marais. Warm days in mid 30's, cabin was very nice. Great place to relax and enjoy home cooked meals. We look forward to coming back next year

We're a group of siblings who bring the family together annually, and we enjoyed our week at Lindberg's Landing thoroughly. We found it very clean, comfortable, and we appreciated how organized and well-stocked the kitchen was; we were able to cook all our meals there. Plenty of room for a big group, beautiful and peaceful location ? none of us had ever been to the Upper Peninsula before but it was a wonderful trip and it was great to have a great place to stay.

Robyn & Matt from Lansing LOVED Lindberg's Landing!!! The cottage has been very well maintained and the property was beautiful. We explored Miner's Castle Falls & beach. These are a must! We also explored Twelve mile beach which was stunning and the Grand Sable Dunes which have beautiful rocks of all colors covering the lakeshore. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful vacation filled with beauty, relaxation and many memories. Matt and Robyn came here for their 10th anniversary and would like to return for their 11th!

We stayed in June and loved the cabin. It was well taken care of and very clean. It had a log cabin interior and was beautiful inside and out. The yard was huge for the little ones to play and very very private. Which we loved the most. It really could use a better extended dock so we could get to it without having to step in the water. Other than that it was perfect. The best part was all the little things that were thought of that were supplied from the firewood,propane and the welcome gift. There were many little extras that alone will make us come back. Thanks for the great stay.

We went on a day kayak trip from Miners Beach to Mosquito Beach which was amazing. We also went on a day trip to the Grand sable dunes & the nearby waterfall, both well worth the trip. The cabin was perfect, we went out on the water the day we got here! And the smore's package was suck a pleasant surprise, thank you!

We had a great time. We went to Miner's FAlls (very beautiful); went on the glass bottom shipwreck tour; rented ATV's and explored all of Hiawatha National Forest; walked around Munising; fished off the dock; the kids loved the paddle boat. It was so relaxing here - very quiet. We look forward to coming back.
