A very nice place. Well stocked. Very quiet and secluded. The owners communicated well asking if we were having any issues. The directions were clear and made it easy to find. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated that it was pet friendly.

We stayed here with our whole family of 14! It was so beautiful and had every accommodation we could ask for! It was quiet and out in the woods. The cabin was gorgeous and we had the best family camp ever! Lisa was great at accommodating and communication. I would stay here again and again! Five stars over and over!

My family and I recently stayed at the Time Out cabin and really enjoyed our time. The cabin is beautiful and isolated enough that you have privacy but also in a location that is not too far from some of the many attractions in the UP. Lisa was great and kept in communication throughout the booking and check in/out process. 5/5 experience!

If you want to be away from the crowds this is the place to stay! The cabin is very secluded yet 30 minutes or less from Munising. The cabin is charming, clean and well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lisa, the owner, contacted us on our arrival to be sure that everything was to our satisfaction. The Pictured Rocks area is beautiful and definitely worth the visit. We would recommend Time Out Log Home without hesitation.

We really enjoyed the stay at Time out Lodge. Inside the serene forest, far from the city, it made a good vacation along with friends The cabin was neat. Bedrooms were good and lot of toys and books for the kids. This is the first time we have rented a cabin and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We did not use the dry bedroom over the garage since we were 9 members.

We had a great 4th of July vacation at the Time Out cottage! It was nice & quiet and the cabin was well stocked and comfortable. Lisa was responsive and very helpful with information!

We spent 10 days at the Time Out Cottage. Even before we made it to our destination Lisa was very accommodating!! We had a last minute change and had to bring our 3 dogs along unexpectedly. I was in a full panic as to what we were going to do. She immediately said not to worry just bring them along! What... I was in shock. She never even hesitated or made us uncomfortable for having them along. They had a blast by the way lol. The grounds and cabin were very clean and beautifully decorated. It was equipped with anything you could need. Many extra blankets and pillows and a kitchen full of just about any pan or utensils you could need. We even made a cake and cupcakes. The serenity this place offers is incredible. We were even visited by turkeys and deer. Lisa and Tom were very accommodating and very helpful along the process. I would highly suggest taking time out of your busy lives and go check out this diamond in the forest!!!

We absolutely loved our "cottage". In fact, it is a fantastic log home with every amenity included. Very quiet, comfortable get-away. The fall colors were at peak, and we explored areas around Munising every day. We are sure to return to Time Out.

Can’t speak highly enough! What a beautiful cabin, fully stocked and equipped with everything you need to make your vacation amazing. Great attention to detail is obvious in this cabin. Far enough away from everything to unplug and unwind, yet close enough that you were less then a 30 minute drive to major attractions. We used Time Out cabin as a central launching point for day trips every day going in a different direction and it was perfect for that.

Peaceful pet-friendly hideaway (5 star review from the TripAdvisor site) We absolutely loved staying at this log home! The location is secluded, the cabin had everything we could have wanted - and then some. Our two dogs were allowed to come, and we all enjoyed the nature surrounding us. Definitely will return this year.

We just returned from Time Out Cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and well stocked. It's location is out of the way enough to be quiet, but close enough to visit any of the Munising attractions. We had an extremely comfortable stay. The living and sleeping areas are well taken care of and the cabin is beautifully decorated. We were able to take our dogs, and are very thankful that pets are allowed. We hope to be able to return to Time Out in the future.

Timeout We had 12 men with 6 Jeeps for our annual trip. When we pulled into this home, we were stunned by it's view. We loved how close we were to the trails, which were everywhere. The inside of the home was breath taking. The wood work was phenomenal! We could of just moved in and never left. Clean and cozy. The loft above the garage was spacious as we needed the room. - Steve

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. My Brother wanted to buy it as soon as he saw it! Ha It was just enough space for all of us and the teenagers thought they had their own apartment above the garage. You have plenty of things to use in the kitchen. Cabinet space left for the food we had brought. Lots of information for things to do in the area. The things you had in the shed were great for when we were back at the cabin to relax.

Excellent Property near Munising We came up to Munising for an adults only weekend to kayak and relax, we were very pleasantly surprised by the Timeout Cabin. Very cozy, clean and had all the amenities we needed. We had 4 couples and knew there were only 3 bedrooms but the upstairs loft was spacious enough for our queen size air mattress. Large yard and bonfire area, full stocked kitchen, plenty of room for 8 adults! We loved the remoteness of the cabin and will definitely return if we come back to the area. it is worth noting that it's a 20/25 minute drive from Munising for those who want to be right in town or closer to Pictured Rocks

Time Out was Paradise! â˜… â˜… â˜… â˜… â˜… The property and house was even nicer in real life! The photos do not do the rental property justice! The house was stocked with everything that anyone would need during their stay! We had a group of 6 people and did not have any problems with 1 1/2 baths, beds, or enough room for people to enjoy themselves. Would absolutely recommend Time Out for families that are looking to really enjoy the UP of Michigan. We felt that the drive was short enough to enjoy running to Munising for the day or even further for that matter. Plenty of small inland lakes to fish, waterfalls, bike trails...perfect location! Wanted a nice getaway but with the comfort of home. This cabin exceeded my expectations, it was equipped with everything we needed. The cabin sits on a nice piece of property but it is definitely in the woods which is a bonus if you want a quiet and relaxing environment. The town is about 8 miles away but is a nice ride. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting some R&R time. Lisa Schamm was a joy to work with and making it so easy getting this prepped for our vacation. The Time Out cabin was amazing. My siblings and I surprised my mom for her 60th birthday with a 3 night stay in Munising and this cabin did not disappoint. The pictures do not do it justice - it is beautiful! The cabin is deep in the woods but only about 20 minutes from town and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. I highly recommend staying here!
